Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Bold (Or strike out) the songs when someone guesses correctly. (No Cheating)

I wonder if I can even manage not to tell Mike I now have short hair.I am so horrible keeping secrets from this man.

Also Kiran took it oh so well, he cried and asked where all my hair went. Kids just do not do good with change I guess. How short is it? Let's just say the days of Ponytales are over for good. It does not even touch my shoulders anymore and it used to be past my bra strap.The downside is I now have to pay attention to myself and relearn how to style hair past, brush- put up- and run out of the house again. What is next? Me using the nailpolish I have hidden somewhere in a drawer upstairs and maybe even considering something called Make-up again. I knew the world would come to an end the moment I had more then two pairs of shoes.

Fine ... you wanted me to play this MP3 player game....give me about another week to get through my music and it on this computer and you can all play....

BOOH and I cannot play the MP3 game everybody is playing because my new player has nothing on it ...and I got it 6 months ago...sad isn't it....on other news I smoked my last Cigarette one week ago.


Bad thing is I still want one, never thought the habit would be so bad to break.

20 Years ago my world changed for the better!

So much for going to the Zoo. At around 6 in the morning Kiran came into the room, woke me up, and brilliant ME managed to step wrong on my left foot and mess it up. So now I am not willing to walk a lot on it and not get it worse.

So I am sulking, sitting in front of the house for a bit to watch the kids play outside on this wonderful warm November afternoon.

Oh at least we will have yummy venison-"shepards"-pie for dinner. Maybe I make an applecake for dessert.

Really they do. So AOL is running a story today on a man who joined the Army, in his late 30's, so his ill wife could get healthcare. He was laid off his job and could not find anything to replace the benefits.

He stepped up and took responsibility like so many of us and not wait on some handout. That is called being an Adult and taking your life in your hands and yes at timesmake very hard choices.

Just like Mike moved us to VA because his job was going away and he wanted to make sure his family was taken care off. Look it payed off for us to make the jump. I was able to stay at home with Kiran and Gabi got into a better school, worked hard and because of her hard work went to College on a full Scholarship.

I will never read comments on anything anymore, people are just stupid in turning this into some kind of mudslinging fest. That really gets me upset is the moment the race card gets tossed all around, honestly people we are all pink on the inside, so what difference does the outside make. Thankfully I can take pride in my children, both of them are colorblind.  

Me in bed before 10 pm! Did happen, I was just beat after the travel and having to run around on Tuesday.

Today all I have to deal with is laundry and going over to Kiran's school later in the day.

Also, my current mission is to kill all the darn fruitflies in my house. Here I thought with me being gone for 5 days they finally would all go away, oh yes I was wrong. They do live for ten days. Right now I have vinegar traps up for them to meet their final bath.

I am back and yes it was fun even if we more or less "lived" in the car. Over 30 hours in five days is a drag.

Kiran had a blast, Mike had a blast, and I had fun.

I really want to crawl back into bed now that Kiran is at school but I have this mountain of laundry and we do need food in the house. This means I have to get my stuff together, get in the car and drive 25 minutes over to the Fort. BLARGHHHH........

Oh but I did get the leftover venison from my brother in law and his brother.

Besides some ground, and some roasts I also got three backstraps. I am thrilled! While I did the happy dance I had visions of Robin in my head telling me that this is really not a big deal if your husband brings that stuff home so much you get sick of it. So Robin get out of my head!

For one of the bright spots this weekend, and no on a normal day I do not have a Shoe fetish.

But one of my proudest moments as a 16 year old was the time I could by my first 9 hole Doc Marten boots.  I still have them, not that they fit me anymore since my feet have change in the last 20 years.

So I dragged the boys shopping yesterday over to Ross since they now get winter jackets for boys in and I refuse to spend a lot of money on a jacket Kiran will outgrow in a blink. Yes I got him a nice warm one for 21 bucks. Maybe I should not say I dragged the boys, I wanted to go alone but all of them wanted to come along.

So I managed to run over to the shoe department to look really quick. Once in a blue moon you can find a real steal at Ross. All the way at the end I see the back of some very clunky Mary Janes. I love clunky-not so girly shoes. Oh look my size, I try them on and they fit and for once do not pinch my feet. Yes I refuse to buy anything that hurts even if it is the best looking shoe in the world. I was floored they turned out to be Doc Martens and were on the shelf for 15 bucks! The big reason I have not owned my favorite shoe brand in years is because most of them come with a 100 bucks pricetag attached to them.

So here are my new pride and joy and the reason for this very silly Girl Moment post. Yes I know most of you will not even think they are pretty shoes, but if you know this brand you know you walk on air even if they are heavy and I tell you they hold up for years. As Mike put it last night, darn woman you can kick the &&%^% out of somebody with those!
